The invention relates to a gearbox for a wind turbine comprising at least a one stage planetary gear comprising a sun shaft and sun pinion coupled to each other by a coupling gear, a planet gearwheel coupled to the sun pinion by a running gear wherein the running gear has a first helical cut generating a first axial force in the direction of the sun shaft during operation and the coupling gear has a second helical cut generating a second axial force in the opposite direction of the sun shaft during operation such that the second axial force compensates the first axial force at least partially. |
