The invention relates to a device for controlling the orientation of the fan blades of an unducted fan turbomachine, comprising at least one set of adjustable pitch fan blades (26), said set rotating as one with a rotary ring (20) centred on a longitudinal axis (X-X) and mechanically connected to a turbine rotor, each blade of the set being mounted on a blade root support pivot-mounted on the rotary ring, the device further comprising at least one radial control shaft (34) for adjusting the orientation (pitch) of at least two adjacent blades of the set, said control shaft rotating as one with the rotary ring and being able to pivot about an axis of the shaft (34a) while being coupled to the blade root supports of said at least two blades of the set in order to adjust their pitch through a transmission system comprising eccentrics connected to one another by at least one link rod.
