PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring a particulate substance, preventing deterioration of sensitivity.SOLUTION: An apparatus for measuring a particulate substance includes a DPF16 in which a plurality of cells sectioned by a porous partition wall are alternately sealed in an upstream side and a downstream side; electrodes A, B respectively inserted from a not-sealed side into opposed electrode cells 2, 3 of four cells adjacent to a measurement cell 1 via the partition wall; a closing member 6 provided in the cells 4, 5 into which the electrodes A, B are not inserted, and closing flow channels of the cells 4, 5; and a PM accumulation quantity calculation unit 22 calculating PM accumulation quantity collected in the DPF16 on the basis of an electrostatic capacitance between the electrodes A, B. |
