PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone compsn. having contradictor properties, one is fragility which facilitates handling of a potting material such as taking out a cured material from a vessel even after it is cured, or removing a part of the cured material, because the potting material used for ornament must fit for trial and error for creation, and the other is viscoelasticity to endure a small outer stress such as vibration, thermal expansion, etc. SOLUTION: This silicone compsn. for potting comprises an organopolysiloxane compd. having not less than 2 hydrogensilyl groups, an organopolysiloxane compd. having not less than 2 vinylsilyl groups, a non- reactive organopolysiloxane compd. having a trialkylsilyl group at an end, and a platinum catalyst. In this case, a cured material formed by addition polymerization has a tensile strength of 50-600 kPa, and an elongation of 5-100%.
