PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patrone storage device and method offering high speed and highly efficient storage operation. SOLUTION: A feeder for supplying spools 1 to a spool turret 30 includes a bowl 11 for feeding the spools aligned in a fixed direction, an air chute 15 for carrying the spools fed therefrom and an air supply means for pushing the spools with air fed to the air chute and carrying the spools to the axial direction. Otherwise, it includes a scroll carrier, a scroll turret and a patrone turret to provide high speed and highly efficient storage operation and its method.
