PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a printer capable of being markedly enhanced in amusement properties and a control method therefor. SOLUTION: In a printer and a control method therefor, first data showing game result is analyzed by a data analyzing means and a printing means prints the first data corresponding to the game result on a printing medium on the basis of the analyzed result. Thereby, the printing medium having the first data corresponding to the game result printed thereon can be provided to a user to impart a satisfactory feeling to the user and amusement properties can be markedly enhanced.
