<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross-sectional shape evaluation method capable of quantitatively evaluating dimensions of respective parts of a cross-sectional shape of a glass run in line. <P>SOLUTION: A cut surface of a glass run 1 cut into a predetermined length after extrusion molding and having an approximately channel-like cross section is imaged by a CCD camera 28, and the quality of the cross-sectional shape is evaluated by an image analyzer 33. The cross-sectional shape evaluation method includes: an imaging step; a step for measuring respective lengths of a side wall part and a lip and a distance from the side wall part up to a lip tip, and determining whether the measurement is appropriate or not; a step for measuring a width dimension of a bottom wall part, and determined whether the measurement is appropriate or not; and a step for measuring an angle formed by the bottom wall part and each side wall part as relative position relation between each side wall part and the bottom wall part, and determining whether the measurement is appropriate or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
