<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter box for which a lid of a meter and an upper box are prevented from interfering with each other when the lid is opened. <P>SOLUTION: The meter box comprises a lower box capable of housing and fixing a unit body including at least a meter for water service and an upper box attachable and detachable to/from the lower box. Support parts of a primary side pipe and a secondary side pipe are provided on positions a prescribed length below upper end edges of opposing sidewalls of the lower box, the respective pipes are attached, the unit body is made connectable between the pipes, and the support parts are provided on such positions that almost entire part of the unit body is housed inside the lower box when the unit body is connected to the pipes. Then, the support parts are provided on such positions that, when a lid of the meter for water service constituting the housed unit body is opened, the lid does not interfere with the upper box. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
