PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile seat apparatus which can enhance commodity value further. SOLUTION: A seat back 44 and a seat cushion 51 are relatively turned. An extension and contraction mechanism 58 which extends and contracts the seat back 44 in association with the turning of the seat cushion 51 relative to the seat back 44. When the seat cushion is lifted up to the seat back 44, seat back 44 can be lowered to secure a good back view for a passenger on a front seat. When the seat cushion is lowered off the seat back 44, in contrast, the seat back 44 is lifted to secure a good seating comfortability.
