PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and safely transfer a stretcher mounting a care taker between a bathtub and a care-supporting apparatus such as a stretcher apparatus provided with a vertically movable guide rail. SOLUTION: This bathing device is provided with: a table plate (support table) 5 which is provided with tub side guide rails 6 installed in the bathtub 3 for transferring the stretcher 13 between itself and liftable apparatus-side guide rail 32 of the stretcher apparatus (care-supporting apparatus) S and itself; a locking mechanism 14 provided at the table plate 5 for switching a locking state and an unlocking state for regulating moving of the stretcher 13 on the tub side guide rail 6 to the side of the stretcher apparatus S; an operation means 15 for carrying out switching operation of the locking state and the unlocking state; a limit switch (height sensor) 38 for detecting the rising of the apparatus-side guide rail 32 to a position for transferring the stretcher; and a relay circuit (controller) 43 which is operated by a detection signal to operate the operation means 15 so as to switch the locking mechanism 14 to the unlocking state.
