METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCTION OF INCENSE COIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for production of incense coils that can produce incense coils having markedly increased commercial value as the produced incense coils have the perfect spiral shape without slackness in a completed state. SOLUTION: The method for production of incense coil comprises following steps: the step where linear raw incense dough are cut in a prescribed length and the cut raw incense dough is held in the holding groove formed on the spool that is allowed to rotate in the horizontal direction with a driving motor; the step where the spool is allowed to rotate in the horizontal direction at a prescribed same speed and simultaneously the raw incense dough wound around the spool is pressed at its upper face and simultaneously an appropriate pressure is applied from the peripheral direction; the step where a shape-retaining cap is put on the wound-up raw incense dough; the step where the shape-retaining cap having raw incense dough is removed from the spool and dried; and the step where the part held in the spool is cut off at the central part of the dried incense dough.
