PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic solution containing pranoprofen or its salt in combination with cromoglicic acid or its salt and having excellent antiseptic effect to stably keep the effect after preservation for a long period. SOLUTION: The ophthalmic solution contains pranoprofen or its salt and cromoglicic acid or its salt. The above ophthalmic solution further contains (A) 0.01-0.03 w/v% chlorpheniramine or its salt, (B) 0.001-0.01 w/v% terpenoid selected from menthol, camphor and borneol, (C) 0.001-0.05 w/v% ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or its salt and (D) 0.5-5 w/v% boric acid or its salt.
