#CMT# #/CMT# Manufacturing compacted herb-type plant materials comprises transforming the cellulose and hemicellulose molecules in the vegetable material into a material of shorter fibers and changing the consistency of lignin by heating in superheated steam. The physical properties of the vegetable material are modified by shortening cellulose and hemicellulose fibers, constituting together with the soft lignin an elastic material highly applicable for pressing, and solidifying again when cooled to ambient temperature. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# For manufacturing compacted herb-type plant material. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The compacted material can be excellently transported and manipulated.
