摘要 <p>An exhaust turbo charger in which durability and reliability are enhanced by keeping the valve element of a waste gate valve touching the seat surface at the opening of two exhaust gas bypaths uniformly at all times without being affected by the end face of a partition wall, thereby preventing generation of vibration and vibration sound (chattering) of the valve element of the waste gate valve, and occurrence of gas leakage incident to a defective seat at the valve element of the waste gate valve and the seat portion on the turbine housing side. A twin scroll type exhaust turbo charger which is an exhaust turbo charger where two exhaust gas bypaths are formed in the turbine housing by partitioning it by a partition wall, and a waste gate valve for opening/closing the two exhaust gas bypaths is provided by attaching a planar valve element removably on the end face of the turbine housing including the end face at the outlet of the two exhaust gas bypaths and the end face of the partition wall, characterized in that a recess is formed in order to make the abutting portion between the planar valve element constituting the waste gate valve and the end face on the turbine housing side non-contact at at least a portion including the end face of the partition wall.</p>
