PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a reformation system of a floatation filter cake that firstly realizes efficient conversion of a filter cake into a fuel excellently from a cost standpoint, and the like, and secondly permits supply of hydrogen for coal liquefaction at a liquefaction site and promotes coal liquefaction also. SOLUTION: The reformation system is provided with a reforming reactor 5. In the reforming reactor 5, a filter cake 1, which is floated adhering to a bubble and recovered in a floatation step of fine powder coal 2, is steam-reformed. The filter cake 1 of the fine powder coal 2 holds adhered water 3 and is mainly composed of a hydrocarbon containing oxygen. The reforming reactor 5 steam-reforms the fine powder coal 2 of the filter cake 1 by causing it to react with steam in the presence of a catalyst 6 under heating at a high temperature and therefor the formed reformed gas 7 is mainly composed of hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and the like. Hydrogen obtained as a reformed gas 7 is used for various fuels or as an energy source and is utilized also, for example, for coal liquefaction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
