PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack being firmly installed to a vertical place of an approximately perpendicular corner by a single screw threading without leaving a new screw hole when a screw hole left in an installation object or an existing screw hole is usable and facilitating the restoration to its original state; and its installation method. SOLUTION: One or more support parts 1a and an installation plate part 1d are constituted into a right-angled relation viewed from the plan view, a support side 1b of the support part 1a and its extension line, and the installation side 1e of the installation plate part 1d and its extension line are approximately orthogonally crossed viewed from the plan view. In the installation plate part 1d having such a shape that nothing projects to the installation side 1e and the outside of its extension line, this rack 1 is provided with a laterally long hole 1h for screw threading, a circular hole or a laterally long hole 1h treated by embossing around the hole, with the wall thickness of 1 mm or more left inward the installation side 1e at least in one part within a vertical range of the installation plate part 1d so as to be firmly installed by the single screw threading and facilitate the restoration to the original state.
