The method involves adjusting an opening condition of a liquid valve (100) in accordance with desired withdrawal flow and delivery of liquid through the liquid valve. A rest condition is initiated after delivery of the liquid, and the liquid valve is repeatedly opened and closed at high frequency. The operation of an electrically operated actuator (120) is controlled, where the actuator moves a closure element (140) to a through opening (160).
