The procedure for the production of polymer based solar cell, comprises allocating a lattice like structured free surface area in the form of openings having first electrode (12), filling the free surface area of the structured first electrode with deformable or masking lacquer (22) in such a way that the first electrode and the filling form a solid plane surface, forming a solid active layer structure on the plane surface and forming a second electrode (32) on the active layer structure. A layer of the lacquer is formed on a transparent or non-transparent carrier or flexible carrier (10). The procedure for the production of polymer based solar cell, comprises allocating a lattice like structured free surface area in the form of openings having first electrode (12), filling the free surface area of the structured first electrode with deformable or masking lacquer (22) in such a way that the first electrode and the filling form a solid plane surface, forming a solid active layer structure on the plane surface and forming a second electrode (32) on the active layer structure.
