ABSORPTIVE ARTICLE AND ABSORPTION BODY

An absorptive article with an absorption body having a large absorption capacity and capable of being easily inserted between the buttocks of a wearer. The absorption article worn on the body of a wearer has an absorptive article body having a longitudinal direction as well as a lateral direction and a thickness direction that are perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and also has the absorption body superposed in the longitudinal direction on the absorptive article body. One end in the longitudinal direction of the absorption body is joined in a non-separable manner to the absorptive article body, and the other end is joined also to the absorptive article body but in a separable manner. The absorption body is more easily stretched in the lateral direction at its portion facing the absorption article body than its portion on the opposite side of the absorption body, which opposite side does not face the absorption article body.
