A selective hydrogenation method of conjugated diolefin polymers is provided to hydrogenate only double bond part of conjugation diene units selectively by using a small amount of a transition metal metallocene compound. A selective hydrogenation method of conjugated diolefin polymers hydrogenates only double bond part of both a homopolymer or an aromatic vinyl compound monomer of conjugation diene monomer and conjugation diene units of conjugation diene polymer by using a metallocene compound as a catalyst, wherein the metallocene compound is selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by chemical formula 1, a compound represented by chemical formula 2 and their mixture.
