The assembly has a stationary yoke (10) whose lug (22, 30) supports an assembling rod (60). A spherical sheave (46) is threaded on the rod, and a cage (44) and a support (42) of a mobile part in rotation pivot around the sheave. A locked adjustment (A3) maintains the sheave in axial and angular position in the yoke. The lug has a recess (38) defining a plane chatter mark (23) on an outer side of the lug. An independent claim is also included for a system for controlling synchronizing ring with variable setting.
