POWER GENERATOR USING THE SALINITY GRADIENT

The present invention provides a salinity difference power generation system which uses the osmotic effect in accordance with the salinity difference between saltwater and fresh water. According to the present invention, the salinity difference power generation system includes: a float which has one or more surfaces sealed by an osmotic membrane; a fluid supply device which draws fresh water into the float while the float falls down and draws air into the float while the float rises; a spinning wheel unit which receives the rising or falling movement of the float to rotate; and a power generation device which generates power in accordance with the rotational movement of the spinning wheel unit. According to the present invention, the system, which generates power from a buoyant force by using the salinity difference between the saltwater and freshwater, does not require separate power to press the float down to the fresh water or saltwater and is able to generate power constantly. The system also maintains constant rotation by controlling the supply of fresh water and air to generate power stably without changing the output.
