<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a size increase of a recess/protrusion fitting structure and further prevent a size increase of a wheel bearing device, while securing necessary joining strength between a hub ring and an outside joint member. <P>SOLUTION: The hub ring 1 and the outside joint member, which construct the recess/protrusion fitting structure M that a shaft portion 12 having protruded parts 35 is press-fitted into a hole portion 22 of the hub ring 1 to form recessed parts 36 by the protruded parts 35 and the protruded parts 35 and the recessed parts 36 closely contact each other throughout their fitting sites, are joined to each other. In the state that a caulking part fixing the hub ring 1 to an inner ring has no contact with the back face of a mouth part of the outside joint member opposed to the caulking part in the axial direction, a pitch circular diameter PCD of the protruded parts and a fitting length L between the protruded portions 35 and the recessed portions 36 in the recess/protrusion fitting structure are dimension-managed so that both satisfy a relationship of 0.20≤2L/PCD≤1.0.
