An object of the invention is a device for protecting and guiding a fish or game cutting blade (110). The device comprises an inlet channel (100) for guiding the cutting blade to its position in the device, a lower jaw (101) and an upper jaw (103) as the protective parts (101, 103) of the cutting blade (110), the device operating as a sheath protection of the cutting blade being located in at least one of the protective parts (101, 103), the lower jaw (101) for controlling the cutting blade to the tissue to be cut by making a cutting motion in which the cutting blade (110) comes out of the protective part (103) and hits to the tissue to be cut, and the device comprises a cutting force guide structure (108) for guiding the cutting force of the cutting blade to the tissue to be cut. |
