PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce movement resistance of a timing chain for driving a cam shaft to achieve reduction of fuel consumption.SOLUTION: Respective shaft ends of a plurality of roller shafts 31 are supported by a pair of opposed side plates 22 of guide bases 21 oppositely disposed to one side of a torque transmission timing chain 5. Needle roller bearings 41 for guiding the chain are rotatably supported by a plurality of roller shafts 31 respectively. By guiding retainers 43 of needle roller bearings 41 using a needle roller 45 and reducing rotation resistance of outer rings 42 for rollingly guiding the movement of the timing chain 5, the movement resistance of the timing chain 5 is reduced to suppress wasteful consumption of fuel. |
