PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine which can perform a favorable operation in all steps of washing, drying and dewatering.SOLUTION: A drum type washing machine includes: a cylinder-shaped outer tub provided in an outer frame housing and for storing washing water and rinsing water; a washing drum tub which is provided rotatably in the outer tub and in which a rotary shaft center line is horizontal; a lifter provided on an inner periphery of the washing drum tub and for scraping up and dropping laundry in the washing drum; and an electric motor for rotationally driving the washing drum tub. The lifter has a shape in which an angle formed by a center line passing an apex of a portion raised from the drum inner peripheral surface toward a rotation center side and the drum rotary shaft becomes equal to or greater than 1 degree and below 90 degrees.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
