CERAMIC CARRIER AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A porous ceramic carrier comprising a raw material containing aluminum hydroxide 35-75 wt. parts, bentonite 30-65 wt. parts and titanium oxide 1-8 wt. parts; and water 10-30 wt. parts, organic additives 2-14 wt. parts, organic binding agent 0.1-1.8 wt. parts, release agent 0.1-1.8 wt. parts, and 0.05-0.65 wt. parts plasticizer and its preparation method are provided which make it easy for microorganism to adhere easily and grow and have sufficient mechanical strength. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises a)mixing process of raw material with water, organic additives, organic binding agent, release agent, and plasticizer in a drum mixer, b)plasticizing process of mixed raw material in a roller which rotates at the speed of about 20-30 rpm, c)remixing process of mixed raw material in a twin mixer which rotates at the speed of about 30-120 rpm, d)molding process by extruding raw material, e)drying process of molded member, f)sintering process of molded member, and g)cooling process of sintered member.
