PURPOSE: An electronic paper display device is provided to express black/white inversion and other gray scales. CONSTITUTION: A substrate(110) comprises a plurality of cell spaces. The cell spaces are formed by partition walls. An upper electrode(150) and a lower electrode(140) are formed on upper/lower surfaces of the substrate. A plurality of twist balls(10) are mounted on the cell spaces respectively. The twist balls have optical and electrical anisotropic features. The twist balls are arranged in one direction along with the direction of an electric field.
