PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top plate which has a highly accurate fine structure and is less distorted inside and less thermally deformed without increasing manufacture costs of an ink jet recording apparatus. SOLUTION: A top plate 5 is formed by two-color molding of a first base body 21 including a fine structural part of grooves defining nozzles 7, ink discharge openings 6a and the like, and a second base body 22 including ink feed ports 9, ink liquid chambers 8 and the like and not including a fine structural part. The first base body 21 is accordingly simplified in shape and the fine structural part can be highly accurate. The second base body can use a material of a high rigidity and a small coefficient of linear expansion. Internal distortion and thermal deformation of the entire top plate 5 can be reduced. Moreover, the first base body 21 is changed in thickness in a longitudinal direction of the nozzles 7, whereby a transferability at the time of molding and an adhesion at the time of joining can be improved.
