PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet recording head for ejecting ink utilizing deformation of a piezoelectric element in which ink ejection efficiency and reliability of the ink jet recording head are enhanced. SOLUTION: Operation under low voltage and reliability are enhanced by providing an ink jet recording head 10 in which ink is ejected by elongating a diaphragm 112 partially or entirely in the plane direction thereof and flexing the diaphragm 112 toward the pressure chamber 11 side thereby varying the volume of a pressure chamber 7 filled with ink.
