PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component adjusting method of molten metal and the equipment used for this execution, with which the development of a product having off- specification can be restrained as much as possible regardless of the experience of an operator. SOLUTION: An arithmetic unit 1 substitutes an adjusting concn. decided from product component actual data in each component as an effecting degree having not less than a prescribed value and substitutes a target lower limited concn. corresponding to each component in the others and calculates an estimated value J1 by using a multiple regression formula, and it is judged whether the obtd. estimated value J1 satisfies a deciding formula or not. In the case of judging that the deciding formula is satisfied, it is judged whether an estimated value Jn in the finished position in the product is calculated or not, and in the case of judging that the estimated value Jn is not calculated, (n+1) is substituted in (n) and an estimated value J is calculated by using the arithmetic unit 1. Then, in the case of judging that the deciding formula is not satisfied, such suitable component as to have smaller influencing degree is selected and after making the estimated value to larger by a nicked widthΔα, n=1 is substituted and again, the estimated value J1 is calculated by using the arithmetic unit 1.
