PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a data communication terminal with high convenience that can reach a transmission/reception operating state at any time without occupying an ISDN communication channel where settings of inhibiting multiple communication and of exclusive transmission/reception can be attained in the unit of communication channels in spite of the possibility of multiple communication of the data communication terminal so as to enhance the performance of ISDN communication. SOLUTION: A facsimile terminal 10 consists of a facsimile main control section 11, a key operation section 12, a resource management section 13, an ISDN call control section 14, a G4 facsimile communication control section 15, and a G3 facsimile communication control section 16, which are interconnected via a bus 21. The facsimile main control section 11 applies setting of inhibit of multiple communication or the like to the resource management section 13 according to setting information entered from the key operation section 12.
