摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method using a TDM(Time Division Multiplexing) path in a satellite DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) system are provided to receive a TDM signal, convert the received TDM signal into an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) signal, and transmit the OFDM signal. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting device(302) generates the first signal with an OFDM type and the second signal with a TDM type, and transmits the first signal and the second signal. A satellite(304) transits the frequency of the first signal into the first frequency band, and transmits the first signal. The satellite transmits the second signal. A gap filler(308) converts the second signal with the TDM type received from the satellite into an OFDM signal, transits the frequency of the second signal into the first frequency band, and transmits the second signal. A receiver(306) receives the signal from the satellite or the gap filler.
