The car has an air suspension, and an auxiliary electronics interposed between a level sensor and a chassis-control unit in a signal line. A signal of the sensor is influenced by the electronics such that the chassis-control unit changes a vehicle level as desired. The electronics has a potentiometer for adjusting the change of the vehicle level, and compensates the speed-dependent change of the vehicle level.
