PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification method, etc. which are miniaturized, but suppressed cost, and certainly inform emergency status such as accidents, etc. SOLUTION: The notification system performs predetermined notification to a communication terminal of the destination from a portable telephone set 100 mounted on a car. If a car contacts in failure or the like, and acceleration suddenly occurs, the portable telephone set 100 discriminates occurrence of emergency status for the car based on detection of an acceleration sensor 201 which detects the accident, transmits image data of the emergency status by imaging processing of a camera part 104, and position data when the emergency status occurs by position detection of a GPS part 102 to the communication terminal of the destination, and carries out notification.
