An efficient dual frame buffer control device and a method thereof are provided to the latest vide data(frame data) generated from an image sensor by using a dual frame buffer without abandoning the video data. First and second buffers(225,230) selectively records previous frame data. A record buffer controller(220) generates a buffer state check signal if the frame data is inputted. A read buffer controller(240) reads the previous frame data recorded in one of the first and second buffers. If the buffer state check signal is inputted, a frame controller(245) calculates a remained read time of the read previous frame data. After that, the calculated read time is compared with an expectation time to decide whether the frame data can be recorded or not and decide a buffer which will store the data.
