PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal digital assistant device whose slide opening/closing drive is automatically performed by a compact motor small in output. SOLUTION: In the personal digital assistant device 1, an upper casing 3 rotates on the front surface of a lower casing 2 and automatically opens. A DC motor 6 to be a driving source of this rotation is reduced by a reduction mechanism 7, a pinion gear 9 and a gear wheel 10. Thus, torque applied to the DC motor 6 is reduced and the slide opening/closing drive of the personal digital assistant device is automatically performed by the compact motor small in output.
