Subsequent search queries are analyzed to discern whether the search query contains local intent, meaning that the search query requests information having an area of geographic relevance. In cases where a search query has local intent, the area of geographic relevance for that search query is compared to the home location of the user to determine whether the search query suggests an intent to travel.
