<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus and an image display system, for displaying, on a shared screen of the image display apparatus, windows on virtual screens of computer devices, wherein when the screen resolutions of the virtual screens of the computer devices are different from each other, the image display apparatus can automatically arbitrate between the screen resolutions of the virtual screens of the computer apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image display apparatus includes: a receiving means that receives, from a plurality of computer devices 55a and 55b, window image data, which are image data of the windows on virtual screens 55, and screen resolution signals of the virtual screens; and a screen resolution arbitrating means that, when determining, based on the screen resolution signals received by the receiving means, that the screen resolutions of the virtual screens 55 of the plurality of computer devices 50a and 50b are different from each other, transmits a screen resolution arbitrating signal for arbitrating between the screen resolutions of the virtual screens 55, to the plurality of computer devices 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
