<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise visibility of the display content of a display section attached to a passive exercise device and to make it possible to confirm the display content without changing a posture during exercising. <P>SOLUTION: The passive exercise device 1 is equipped with an infrared communication section 14, and the infrared communication section 14 can communicate with a display 2 through an in-house network 201. The display content of an operation display section 15 arranged in the passive exercise device 1 is also transferred to the screen of the display 2 through the in-house network 201, and displayed on the screen of the display 2.
