PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch element which excludes physical interlocking of a machine element, is made compact, and makes a circuit smoothly operate.SOLUTION: A switch element has first and second electrodes 11 and 12, a first fusible conductor 13 mounted on the first electrode 11, and a high-melting-point metal body 15 adjoining the first electrode 11 with an insulator 10 interposed and having a higher melting point than the first fusible metal body 13, area of the first fusible conductor 13 being larger than area of contact with the first electrode 11. The first fusible conductor 13 is fused as heat is generated by supplying electric power to the high-melting-point metal body 15, and the first electrode 11 and the second electrode 12 are connected to each other through the fusible conductor 13a to be electrically short-circuited.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
