PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a period in which a second sample is present in a detection area cannot be specified in a prior art.SOLUTION: A detection method using a detection device which comprises a detection unit for detecting a substance to be detected in a detection area and a determination unit for determining whether or not a second sample not including the substance to be detected is present in the detection area, includes the steps of, when the substance to be detected is introduced in the detection area and at least a part of the substance to be detected stays in the detection area, introducing a first sample including the substance to be detected in the detection area (A1), after the step (A1), introducing the second sample in the detection area (B1), and after the step (B1), determining whether or not the second sample is present in the detection area by the determination unit and detecting the substance to be detected by the detection unit to obtain a first detection amount in a period in which the second sample is determined to be present in the detection area (C1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
