PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic polyester resin foamed particle, capable of producing a molded foam excellent in heat resistance with good production efficiency.SOLUTION: A thermoplastic polyester resin foamed particle for use in in-mold foam molding includes a thermoplastic polyester resin having a semi-crystallization time at 120°C of 155-300 seconds measured by DSC. A secondary foamed particle obtained by expanding the thermoplastic polyester resin foamed particle has excellent thermal adhesiveness, and the crystallinity of the secondary foamed particle can be sufficiently enhanced within a short time. Thus, according to this thermoplastic polyester resin foamed particle, a molded foam having excellent heat resistance and mechanical strength can be produced within a short time.
