PURPOSE: A twitter message arrangement displaying method related to a user in a portable terminal and a device thereof are provided to extract and arrange only twitter messages related to a user among the twitter messages arranged by a timeline type, thereby displaying the extracted and arranged twitter messages. CONSTITUTION: A displaying unit displays messages by a timeline type. A controlling unit(160) determines whether a motion sensing signal according to user finger motion is inputted from a motion sensing device(100). When the motion sensing signal is inputted from the motion sensing device, the controlling unit extracts and arranges only the messages related to a user among the messages displayed by the timeline type. The controlling unit displays the extracted and arranged messages by a pop-up type.
