PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ALC panel maintenance method to maintain and control an ALC panel after construction so as to contribute to suppression of global warming and maintain material flexure strength and heat conductivity and maintain or improve compression strength.SOLUTION: An ALC panel maintenance method according to this invention has a carbon dioxide barrier film forming process to form the carbon dioxide barrier film made of a coating film that transmits less carbon dioxide, when the carbonation level of the ALC panel is 20 to 60%. An increasing width of the carbonation level of the ALC panel after the carbon dioxide barrier film is formed is 10% or less after 15 days under carbonation promoting condition in which a carbon dioxide concentration is 3 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
