PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel-like cosmetic with good skin compatibility that has high affinity to a skin, has high permeability and gives moisture when applied to the skin.SOLUTION: In the gel-like cosmetic having a moisture content of 50 to 98 mass% and containing a thickener, the gel-like cosmetic contains 0.01 to 5 mass% of the thickener and contains 0.1 to 5 parts of a carboxymethyl group-containing modified hyaluronic acid and/or a salt thereof to 1 part of the thickener, wherein the carboxymethyl group-containing hyaluronic acid and/or a salt thereof has a molecular weight of 400,000 or more, and the carboxymethylation rate to the disaccharide unit constituting hyaluronic acid is 5 to 200%.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
