PURPOSE: A decontamination device for the inside of a nuclear reactor upper head is provided to prevent damage to a probe by sprinkling water over a gap between a thermal sleeve and a penetration pipe. CONSTITUTION: A decontamination part(1) sprinkles water over a penetration pipe and the inside of the upper head of a nuclear reactor. A driver(2) rotates the decontamination part. A body(3) includes the driver. A utility feeder(4) is composed of a pure water supply line(41) and a compressed air line(42). An injection nozzle decontaminates the outside of the penetration pipe and the inside of the upper head. A gap sprinkling water nozzle decontaminates a gap between a thermal sleeve and the penetration pipe.
