PURPOSE: A circuit for generating a reference voltage is to reduce a loss of unnecessary operating current and Icc static current by connecting a master slave circuit to an output terminal of reference voltage generation apparatus and by operating the reference voltage generation apparatus and master slave circuit by a sense amp enabled signal. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for generating a reference voltage consists of: a reference voltage generation apparatus(11), which outputs a satisfactory reference voltage according to the output of sense amp enabled signal; and a master slave circuit(12), which outputs a stable reference voltage after latching the reference voltage generated from the reference voltage generation apparatus(11) according to the output of sense amp enabled signal.
