PURPOSE: Organic EL-display device forms a barrier on a substrate, and prevents an inflow of the adhesive agent when attaching the upper substrate to the lower substrate. CONSTITUTION: Organic EL-display device includes a light-emitting part(13b), a lower substrate(22) on which the light-emitting part is positioned, a upper substrate(21) which is formed at a predetermined interval on a upper part of the lower substrate, and a barrier(24) which is formed along an edge between the upper substrate and the lower substrate and closes a space between the upper substrate and the lower substrate. Adhesive agent layer(G) is attached to a circumference of the barrier, and fixes the upper substrate and the lower substrate therebetween. Thereby, the organic EL-display device having a high quality is made.
