PURPOSE: When data of one device is updated, data synchronizing system and method update data of the other device synchronously with the updated data of one device. CONSTITUTION: A portable information terminal(200) collects and manages data. When the data is updated, the portable information terminal composes a message including the updated information of the data by using a short message service(SMS) and transmits the data. A base station(210) converts the SMS message transmitted from the portable terminal to an E-mail message and transmits the E-mail message through the internet network(230). A computer(220) manages the same data as the portable terminal manages. And, the computer receives the E-mail message transmitted from the base station through the internet network and updates the message under management so as to synchronize the message with the message of the portable information terminal. Thereby, the other device can immediately synchronize its own data with the updated data of one device.
